How Many Days Left Until Hockey Starts?

I hate summer for one reason and one reason only: no hockey. It makes people get very silly. The sole subject of discussion amongst Habs fans today is what sort of trade package it would take to land Steven Stamkos. Many are all too ready to send Price and/or Subban plus many other pieces to make it happen.

    1. It won't happen. It's amazing that only a year after the Canadiens went through the process of negotiating with Carey Price on a new contract they're ready to assume that the Lightning and Stamkos are having major problems and that Stammer wants out of town.

    2. Sure it would be nice to add 50 goals to a team that ranked 23rd in offence this past season. But hey, who wouldn't want to go into the coming season with Peter Budaj and Peter Delmas as their goaltending duo? Sure Price was the sole reason that the Habs even made the playoffs, but let's turn that one organizational strength into fulfilling a major need.

    3. Ain't gonna happen.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

LOL. I stopped listening to sports radio and general sports commentary after I once listened to Mike and the Mad Dog (former somewhat popular NY sports radio duo) argue for 45 minutes about what songs the E Street band could and could not play back to back because of how taxing the songs were for Clarence Clemons.

p.s Devils Prospect camp starts tomorrow and 90 days to the opener!

Well timed comment as I'm seeing Metallica this Thursday - for years they always said that they'd never play Dyers Eve because it was too fast for Lars to handle. But then, in 2004, they started making him do it anyways.

I saw them about 2 years ago or so at MSG, and they played all the fast stuff in the beginning, then did all of the UNFORGIVEN tracks so give themselves a rest.
