Good old draxmonette - that guy had more UD Centennial stuff than a person could shake a game-used Saku Koivu stick at. I think he was the one that pulled the Shutt Habs Inks SSP.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Um that is a silly price for that lot! Never going to $1,000 per card.

It may not go for 100% of his listing price, but never underestimate the power of deep-pocketed Habs fans.

Smart to list it before the Cup comes out. He might get 40-50% of his asking price right now. As soon as the Cup is released that drops dramatically, IMO.

A member of the same Montreal group of 3-4 guys, who buy from each other to manipulate the market. This item will sell and a week or two later, it will be re-listed for $3000-$4000 more then it is today. Of course, it will have never left the original owners hands. Anyone remember the Ovechkin Cup RC 1/1 that sold for the record price....then went back on sale a week later?

I know the history of the Ovechkin black 1/1 and that didn't happen with this card. What you described has happened with many other cards though!

Oh that isn't cool at all. Now I'll always question all of this guy's auctions.
