Question Interest/Value Check Of Wayne Gretzky PC

So I've got a 425 card Wayne Gretzky collection that I've built over the last 20 years or so. No doubles, but it's mostly cards from the 90's and mostly commons/low-end. I'd estimate the total BV of it being around $1300-$1500. Don't believe any single card is over $100, probably only 20-25 cards with a single value over $20.

Anyway, I've basically stopped collecting Gretzky since returning to the Hobby after mostly ignoring it for the last 10 years. It's just way too expensive to collect him nowadays and I'd rather concentrate on my other PC's, as they're of currently active players and/or less sought after players.

As such, I would like to see what the perceived value of this Gretzky collection would be. $ value what should I expect in return and/or what $ value would you personally pay for it? I'd probably want to keep a few more personal cards from it, but nothing that would alter the value of it much.

Here are links to a spreadsheet listing every card and photos of every card.

I'm thinking about it, basically. If I do move it then yes, it will be as a lot because I'm not willing to get rid of it piece-by-piece. I guess it all depends on the offer. I'll PM you anyway.

Not to hijack the thread, but I was wondering not too long ago how many people collect Gretzky as a PC player. Just collecting cards regardless if it's as a Ranger, Blue, King or Oiler and why. Whether it's an Oilers fan from the 80s or just a Gretzky fan or a Hall of Fame collector.

He's easily the most PC collected hockey player by far. Not even close.

i don't know specific data, but for some reason i always thought patrick roy was...i mean...those montreal fans are nuts lol (no offense to anyone, just saying there are a lot of them), so i kinda assumed it was Roy...not that I'm saying ur wrong, because I'm probly wrong...but i think he gives him a run for his money at the least

I can see Roy being up there, but just in my experience anyway Gretzky is way ahead of him. Roy probably rules Quebec, but I'd think the rest of Canada and the US is dominated by Gretzky.
