    2011 Topps Lineage

I have been looking forward to this release and picked up my first box earlier today. I like the sets that have a mix of current players, rookies and legends. Overall, the cards look nice and I think I will try to put together a set. There have been a lot of negative comments about the auto checklist. It is lean, but there are some there worth chasing. I was pleased with the break. Here are the highlights:

    John Smoltz Reprint AU

    Ty Wiggington 1952 AU

    Sandy Koufax Cloth Sticker

    Derek Jeter Cloth Sticker

    Derek Jeter Diamond Refractor

    Cal Ripken Jr. Diamond Refractor

    Austin Jackson 1975 Mini GU

    Stand Ups

    Mike Stanton
    Miguel Cabrera

These are actually much cooler than I thought they would be.

    Diamond Parallels

    Nelson Cruz
    Brooks Robinson
    Orlando Hudson
    Shane Victorino
    Starlin Castro
    Matt Cain

    Diamond Refractors

    Larry Walker
    B.J. Upton
    Grady Sizemore
    Luis Aparicio

    3D

    Mark Teixeira
    David Wright

    Venezuelan Variation

    Albert Pujols
