LOL Pretty much. You can always give kidkanada a shout. He's always looking for #'d stuff.

That is just it too...most of it won't be numbered...as common insert and rookie as you can get. Some is numbered, but....

It makes me really sad that no one likes inserts any more :(

I'm a product of the mid-90s when inserts were amazing. I absolutely love finding them.

Product of the mid-80s myself and I'm the same way about inserts, especially well designed inserts. I find that eventually I always find someone who needs my parallels or inserts but if I've had one sitting around for a very long time I'll throw them in when doing team base lot trades.

dmaksymyshyn, I'm a little light on traders right now but if you can find anything in my bucket you have some Columbus stuff I'd be more than happy to take off your hands.

I'm in the same category, and have had all these inserts floating around. Back in the day it was a little costly to put insert sets together, so I just did base sets, plus my players. Now I could easily put those insert sets together, because they are readily dumped.

However some of those 90's inserts do go above BV on ebay. I found that out trying to buy Jagrs from that era. It's just that you don't see them too often now, because game used, and autos draw more attention these days.
Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd

The Mid and Late 90's inserts were a dream compared to the garbage presented today.

Pacific. Donruss, and Leaf are some of prime reasons why. Upper Deck has always had very limited skill in presenting both parallels and inserts. You think that they would learn, but obviously not.

Using US College Jargon that does not apply in the least to Hockey is one of the reasons.

Terms like Freshman, Sophomore and other nonsense just does not work in representing Hockey.

A bit like Doc Emrick calling a Blocker a Waffle-board if you like.

So put them together. I traded to finish the 92-93 UD Low set that I started when I was 7 and it's the most fun I've had since I started collecting again and trading online.
You will pay above BV for some, but most you will get quite easily and cheaply and like I said, it could be a really fun project.
