It could have been worse, you could have pulled an autograph of former CBC commentator, Brian McFarlane, and then the Plett would have looked fantastic next to it.

I got a hobby box of that two days ago and I pulled autos of Brian McFarlane (see why I mentioned it!?!), Bernie Parent (yay!), Howie Meeker (old time for the win!), and Bernie Nicholls.

I got the McFarlane base card (got the Plett too!!! I'll throw it in with the auto for $500).

Honestly, it's a nice looking set and I'm thinking maybe I will maybe I won't try to do the base set. I'm just a little disappointed.

I can fill your base set needs and good number of the numbered cards as well if you do go for the set.

Well, I figured out that I'm only 23 cards short of the base and not a double in the bunch, so it's mostly a matter of getting the SPs . Still not sure if I'll do it, but it's leaning that way at the moment.

Oh, I'm not complaining, just disappointed.
Unfortunately I don't get the opportunity to head to the LCS very often at all.
