The Cup: 3-Box vs. 6-Box cases

Hey--

Does anyone here know the difference between the 3-box cases that are being sold online and the 6-box cases that you can buy at brick and mortar hobby shops?

Last year I thought the case hits came one per 6-box case. Does that mean that if you're buying a 3-box case online you might not get a big hit? Seems unusual.

6 tin case you will get a case hit..i think the 3 tin case is more of a gamble..not saying it's not possible...i figure a lot more people like your thrill seekers and big money guy's that are just cracking open for that big hit..would just buy 3 tin cases if they were all promised a case hit..for me i have a 6 tin case coming..but if i knew for sure there would be case hits in a 3 tin case??? i would just buy two of them instead..imo lol....

I asked about this beforevbut didnt get an answer. I could only find 3-box case online so i ordered 2.

This is not the 1st time that the cup is going with 3 and 6 tin cases. In 07-08 they had both versions.

I busted 2-3 tin cases and yanked a Toews /99 AND a /19 in each. My point, don't be shy about the 3's but they are risky nonetheless.

I got a 3 tin case with a Dual Auto Shield Rask/Bernier Redemption out of a 3 tin case of 07/08 The Cup.

Seem to be really good with these 3 hits.

It would suck for people like me who always wanted to get a case to pull something big and now we have to hope we get the right 3 tin case. What's the used of buying a case if you aren't guaranteed a case hit.
