    Removing silver sharpie

anyone got suggestions for removing silver sharpie from a picture? it's computer printed onto photo paper so i'm concerned that anything too harsh might take the ink right off the picture. someone told me hair spray, i tested it on an extra copy and it took some of the computer ink off of the pic, also didn't fully remove the sharpie.
    thanks

Not sure if you can, since silver is more like a paint.

I would just print a new picture honestly. May I ask why you got it signed if you didnt want the autograph on there?

i wanted it signed with silver, and i usually bring my own but forgot it that day so i used the one they had on the table. i purposely asked if the silver pen was warmed up cause i know they can dry out quick. i was told by the handler it was ready to go. as you can guess, it was drying out and what i got was a half visible signature. i then had him (john mayberry jr) resign it on another spot with blue sharpie. so its not a matter of just printing a new one, it is signed...1 1/2 times ;)
i am thinking about contacting the show promoter to see if they would swap it with another of the many photos they probably had signed to sell on their website...although i'm kinda bummed cause i purposely printed out a shot of a clutch hit from a game i was at, i don't think they'll have the same one.
