I think Carter will have an up and down year in his new digs in Columbus. I think the fact he will see more ice time with the Blue Jackets, especially more PP time will help his stats. I think it will take some time though for he and Nash to build some chemistry considering they are two similar offensive talents in that they both like to work with the puck and are shooters. While their styles do not compliment each other, eventually they will learn to feed off of each others opportunities.

I'll guess Carter will finish with 39 goals and 40 assists with 11 of those goals coming on the powerplay. He'll once again have a few stretches where he lights it up and a few where he disappears. I think the additions Columbus has made in the off season have them fighting to the end for the last playoff spot, perhaps even sneaking into the post season.
