I'm planning a trip to Baltimore next month to graph the O's and Angels and today, I learned that I may be getting my hands on tickets RIGHT BESIDE THE YANKEES DUGOUT! Needless to say I'm ecstatic! If there were ever a chance for me to get some Yanks IP, this game will likely be it. I cannot wait!

Got an awesome TTM success on Thursday from my favorite Nittany Lion of all-time!

Derrick Williams 2/2 on 8/25 in 17 days! He inscribed both with his #2 and "Big 10 Champs".

Then, me and my fiance went to the Scranton/Pawtucket game last night. It turned into a doubleheader because they had cancelled Sunday's game. Unfortunately, we got there a little late because the starting time was a bit earlier and got there 10 minutes before game time. All I was able to get pre-game was...

    Jose Iglesias on a Bowman 2011 1st card that I didn't degloss enough :(
Lars Anderson on a Bowman Gold RC

The first game flew and the Yanks couldn't buy a hit. That is until a Brandon Laird foul ball caught my fiance in the arm! SMH LOL! Fortunately she took it like a champ and shrugged it off, but some GROWN MAN ran over, snatched the ball and took off. Who does that?! So instead I got her dippin' dots in a helmet and we figured we'd get him to sign that instead.

Sadly though, my fiance had been feeling under the weather before the game and asking her to sit through two games was too much. She insisted on staying but I got her to leave so we didn't get to graph after the game. Not the best IP day but I'll live, lol. We're heading up near the stadium tonight so she told me we'd go over to the stadium when the game lets out and graph the Yanks like I intended to work on the team set some more and trade in some tickets for the final home series next weekend vs. the Buffalo Bisons.

Thats hilarious and sad about them stealing the ball.

My brother and I might be up at Swb tonight getting Jesus montero and Iglesias. Maybe I'll see you there. I'm 6'6" and tough to miss lol.

    Nice Iglesias success.

Lol yea, you would hope a grown man would act better than that but oh well.

We'll be graphing the Yanks post-game so if you're over there I'll look for you. My fiance is going to get her pink dippin' dots helmet signed by Laird haha and I'll be working on the team set as well as hoping to get Betances on a ROMLB.

The things some people will do for a foul ball...do they realize they can buy those for about $6 in the Team Shop? I would rather have Dippin' Dots than a foul ball anyway, even if they're more expensive, haha...

    Good luck with Scranton!

Lol I'm not a big fan of Dippin' Dots, I prefer real ice cream over it any day! Still, it was kinda sad how bad an old man wanted a foul ball, even with it hitting someone!

Thanks man, barring rain tonight should be a very good night for graphing!

Got 2 TTM returned today that I was pretty happy to come home to...

Greg Gagne 3/3 -- 87 Topps, 89 Donruss, 90 Score all inscribed with John 3:16

    Danny Tartabull, 3/3

Both came in exactly 2 weeks. Hopefully the others that went out along with them will return soon (Zach Britton and Terry Francona) and still waiting on a handful of others as well!

Man, I'm sick of all this rain. Of the 15 games I went to this season, it rained at some point for 5-6 of them. Put a damper on my graphing both pre-game and post-game, but here's what I got...

Mark Cohoon 1/1 on a 2008 Donruss Elite
    Raul Chavez 1/1 on a Topps 2008
Tim Teufel 0/3 (said the umpires were out and ran into the dugout with 7 minutes till first pitch)

To make matters worse after the delay, it was a doubleheader and game 2 was shortened as it started to pour down on us. I had planned to finish up my SWB Yanks team set and FINALLY get my Austin Romine and Ramiro Pena 8x10's finished, but there is no coverage on the Yanks side and I didn't want to risk getting ruined photos/autographs so I went for the sure thing on the Bisons side. I only need a handful of guys because I got the entire team last time they were up.

    Post Game:
Tim Teufel 2/3 on 89 Donruss and 91 Score, really needed him to sign my 87 Topps but he was in mega-rush mode. He used my book to sign another guy's cards and it looked like he messed up his sig pretty bad.
Taylor Tankersley 1/1 on a 2006 Bowman Draft Picks
Justin Hampson 1/1 on a 2007 Topps '52 (love this set)
Fernando Martinez 1/1 on a Bowman 2008 RC (smudged it pretty bad, my Topps 08 looks much better of him)

Only other guys I brought cards for were Mike Easler, but it seems he wasn't in town for some reason, Kirk Nieuwenhuis (injured), and Fernando Perez, but I chose not to wait around for him any longer.

Not my favorite time out. I'm sick of the rain, but up on this mountain all we get is precipitation. This was likely my last minor league game unless I go down to see Staten Island in the NYPL playoffs. I'd love to get some of the young guys on that club. My fiance and I will be going to an Orioles/Angels game in a few weeks and I may also be getting my hands on some AMAZING Yankee seats that should guarantee at least 1 autograph I would hope!

To protect my stuff from rain, I use one of those accordion folders...the ones with all the different pockets that close? Offers complete protection, and helps organize; might be something to look into for future use...

Not a terrible day, but rain sure ruins everything...

Thanks for that dude, I'll definitely look into it. Luckily, most of the Yanks' players didn't sign anyway so I lucked out. Only guy I missed really was Austin Romine and I can get him at some point next season. Betances, Banuelos, and Noesi all didn't sign.
