BOOO the remake. The orginal was made right here in my hometown. My wifes aunt was one of the extras in the move. You can see here a bunch of times at the party at the mine. She said it was super fun they were paid minium wage plus got to Drink as much Booze and some as much cigaretts they wanted that the movie provided.Last edited by bigga; 07-15-2012 at 03:02 PM.

That's awesome, Have you been to any of the places where they filmed like the mines or the laundry mat, do they still look the same? Does the town celebrate that the movie was filmed there. This is the 30 anniversary of the original is the town doing anything?
The remake is the only Horror remake that I like, I think the remake was pretty good.

A new one in today, This might challenge Donald Pleasence as my favorite piece. Richard Brooker signed Part 3 Laser disk. With this I have 5 of the 9 main actors to play Jason.

There is not much left from the film. The mine is gone completly it has been turned into a park, the laundry mat was turned into appartments. the only place left is the hall were the dance was going to take place. The town does not recognize that the film was even made, It is pretty sad.

re. my bloody valentine, i met 8 or 9 stars at a horror con a few years ago. probably the nicest bunch of people i've ever met at one of these. never really one of my favorite horrors but i kinda have a new appreciation for it now cause the actors were so cool. they all had great stories about filming (which i've forgotten) and i got them to all sign a full size movie poster...which has pretty much been packed up in a closet somewhere cause i simply don't have the wall space for all the junk i have.
here's me w/ the guy that played axl...that's the original helmet he wore in the movie
