    Beckett OPG Troubles?

Anybody else having troubles logging into the Beckett online price guide today? I have tried logging in from both Firefox, Internet Explorer, and even another computer. I keep getting a message telling me that "This connection is untrusted" and that the site cannot provide trusted identification to connect securely. This has only been happening to me today and I'm curious to know if this is happening across the board with everyone.

Note: Please respect that this thread is not meant to be a bashing thread and I am not looking for a lecture on how the Becket OPG or magazine are used for pricing versus other methods. While the Beckett is only one of a few methods I use, this thread was created to simply see if others are having similar issues logging in.

Good to know it's not just me lol. Anybody else also experiencing these problems, or is it working fine for some too?

I had that problem. From IT Guy on the Beckett Message Board:

This is completely my fault. I had the notice to renew the SSL security certificate, and I misread it. I though it expired on August "21" when it actually said August "12".

I'm in the process of getting the updated certificate now.

FYI: THE SITE IS STILL SECURE

Security certificates "expire" because the issuer wants to get paid when you renew it at the end of the term. In spite of the message you get when the cert is "expired", the encryption provided by the cert is still active, and still as strong as ever. You just have to click past that annoying security message to tell your browser it's ok to use the expired certificate.

I haven't had a problem since Saturday night.

It was happening to me as well the other day, the site hasn't worked right in like 5 years so I didn't think much of it. Its nothing new, look at the people that run the site. Enough said.

I was going to say something along those lines but:

    Lol......................

Hard to deal with Beckett without troubles. I called then in Texas the other day and I actually had to translate to English (for her) what the woman was trying to say on the other end of the line.

It took her 5 minutes to determine that Beckett produced an Annual Hockey Pricing Guide, and another 5 for me to convince her that one was coming out in the next few months, I just wanted to know which month. Lol.
