that reporter is an idiot basing durant is a better player than lebron from a summer practice game. i'd love to see the shooting statistics, durant probably launched 50 plus shots. and he says durant isnt doing as well as he could cause of westbrook. another ridiculous statement. gtfo reporter

Lebron stats- 27 ppg, 7 rebounds, 7 assists,1.7 steals, and a block per game
durant- 28 ppg, 7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1 steal, 1 block per game
lebron is more dominant and more of a playmaker, yet his only flaw is he hasnt been a closer. we'll see next year. once the team gains their full chemistry the heat are gonna wreck

Hmmmm... Maybe you should read all of my posts? I said LeBron was better than Durant, had the most skills, and was one of the top two scores of the league.
What in today's world has changed that to hate?

Understandable. And it should be that way...for good reason.

The Durant is a chucker sentiment is pretty funny. It's yet another example of the public's perception not lining up with reality.
Durant - 18.0 FGA per 36 minutes, .576 TS%, 29.8% USG
MJ - 21.5 FGA per 36 minutes, .569 TS%, 33.3% USG
LeBron - 18.4 FGA per 36 minutes, .566 TS%, 31.8% USG
Although I think Durant's court vision is severely underrated, LeBron is clearly a more complete player from a skills perspective. Just kind of irritating when people throw out the, "Yeah KD scores, but anyone could get 30 points a game when they take 30 shots." It's actually impressive to me that Durant is as efficient offensively as MJ and LeBron given his lack of ball-handling skills. He's essentially a jump-shooter right now. If he ever develops a post-game or improves his ball-handling, he could end up being the greatest scorer of all-time.
If you go solely off of physical tools and abilities, LeBron trumps Durant. But some people are winners and some are losers. It's similar to a Wilt Chamberlain v. Bill Russell debate IMO. I don't think LeBron is a winner. I'd take Russell and KD over Wilt and LeBron any day.

Did you ever take into account the players that played around Russell?
