Wings win against Colorado 3-0! Ty Conklin gets a nice shut out and the Wings are off to a nice start.

If Howard continues to improve, the goaltending may actually be a strength this year. Hopefully it can help cover up some of the defensive miscues that didn't go our way last year.

wow im happy to find this thread, it feels like home lol. I've only been able to see the highlights provided by NHL video on youtube. To anyone watching the full games so far, how is the flow, or synergy of the wings?

They've looked good so far. Ian White is looking like a huge pickup for this team. The only issue, which may be common with all teams, is that they seem to disappear at times during the game. All in all, I'm content with the start but I am expecting more. Something along the lines of 82-0.

Lmfao, you actually got a good laugh out of me, im expecting the same thing as well. Im glad to hear Ian white is looking good so far especially winning against the avs. Now i have to wait until thursday for another wings game, but it should be a good matchup against the canucks.

what a great comeback win today. I had to go to work at the middle of the second period when we were down 0-2 and when i came back home i found out that we won. I can sleep well tonight.

Wings looked pretty good last night minus Jimmy Howard. Didn't get to watch a lot of the game, just bits and pieces. Until at least next weekend though, the Wings will be undefeated.
