Anybody want a good laugh? Anyone that would actually compare or even mention Vick and Brady in the same sentence must be delusional...

The best way i could describe Vick would be he's like a "over-glorified" Randall Cunningham...Last edited by Hilfiger1975; 10-10-2011 at 01:54 AM.

When did I ever compare the 2? All I said was based on some peoples logic since both threw 4 INTs against the Bills both must suck. Good try though.

LoL you still ignore the fact Tom Brady just had one bad day throwing 4 interceptions while Vick has been consistently thrown multiple interceptions per game.

Please show me the proof. Vick had 6 INTs all last season, so clearly he had many multiple INT days.....
Peyton Manning had 6 INTs in a game once, while Vicks highest ever is 4. Peyton must be terrible too.....

vick doesn't suck, he's just over rated. you have to give the bills credit, they forced brady into 4 int's as well so it's not all vick. some bad decisions and some bad luck.

This thread has gotten totally out of control. I'm going to give my parting words (I'm sure you're all waiting on bated breath
):
Vick is not a terrible QB, nor do I think he's the main reason for the Eagles being 1-4. The Eagles have no O-line, and their defensive acquisitions haven't amounted to a hill of beans. I should know, I drafted their D in all three of my fantasy leagues.
I'm not a Vick hater or a Vick lover. He's VERY much like Brett Favre in that he'll make a play that will absolutely wow you, and then make a bonehead mistake. I think the Vick hatred in this thread is totally out of line though. People look at stat lines and think they tell the whole story, but they don't. If you watched the game, you saw two things:
1. The offensive line cannot protect Vick to save their lives. This lead directly to at least one INT.
2. Two of Vick's INTs were actually the fault of the receiver. Particularly Jason Avant's on the last drive where he juggled the ball and invariably it ended up in the arms of a Buffalo Bill.
By far and away Vick's worst throw of the game was the Barnett interception for a TD. It was completely ill-advised and just an all-around awful play by Vick. Guess what? Every QB makes those plays.
I personally can think of at least 4 or 5 QBs starting right now that I'd rather have than Michael Vick. But for some to say he's a garbage QB and a joke is, in and of itself, a joke. I don't know if Vick will ever win a Super Bowl or not, but most QBs that play in the NFL never do. It doesn't mean they are awful QBs (I don't think anyone would ever say that Dan Fouts and Dan Marino were crappy quarterbacks), it simply means either they weren't quite as good as Joe Montana or Tom Brady, or just that the stars never really aligned for them.
Vick is not a godsend, but he's not garbage either.

As mentioned above, this has gotten out of control. If you kids can't play nicely, no more sandbox for you.
