That would be awesome if he was $60. I have a feeling that his price may be close to doubled that at this show. Im guessing but id say he is at least $100 but I hope im wrong.

I am looking to go to Chickies and Petes one of these Monday night events. How does the event go for signing? Is the player sitting at a table signing for an allotted time period or is it just luck if you get them. How many players are there normally? I am looking for Vick, Young, Jackson, McCoy, Maclin and Cooper. My problem is that I live 2 1/2 hours away. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Vick
I was at Vick and McCoy's first shows back in early september. Vick seemed annoyed that he had to sign but signed my mini helmet for me and about 20-30 other people. There were 50+ people there I'd say but the owner (Pete) went out of his way to exclude people that he knew were dealers. I haven't been to one of his shows since, but a kid at the hotel graphing with me last week said that Vick hasn't signed since that first show. I have no direct evidence so take that as you will.
At Shady's first show the restaurant was packed but when it came time to finally get in line for autos I'd say only about 30-40 got in line (I was the 2nd person). At the first commercial break I went up to the stage for my graph and the handlers at 975 the fanatic said that I couldn't go up because they were still working with McCoy to see if he would sign, apparently he was "tired." The first commercial break ended and we all got nervous that we were going to get screwed.
The 2nd commercial break began and the same crap happened, they wouldn't let us up. Several minutes passed until finally I guess they came to some sort of concensus and we were allowed up. I got him to sign and he was pretty friendly about it.
However, like with Vick above, I heard that Shady hasn't been signing since that first show. A buddy of mine went to his show in Jersey. He told them he couldn't sign because of a "hand injury." My buddy thanked him anyway, and gave him a framed plaque with an 8x10 of shady mounted in it- a really cool piece- as a gift. Shady thanked him and promised he'd sign in the parking lot afterwards for him. When it came time for the parking lot, Shady stiffed him and got in his car and drove away.
I take this story with a bit of a grain of salt, but I heard independent confirmation from another lady who was there that he didn't sign, so at least that much is true.
I'd love for one of the forum contributors on here who attend these shows to speak up and prove these stories wrong. I hope that these guys are doing these shows to meet and greet with the fans among other reasons. I want to believe that they are signing, but my second hand information hasn't been too favorable.
It seems that my instinct to go to the first show of the "big names" was spot on- I knew that after awhile of seeing the same faces at the shows over and over that they'd get sick of it and stop. Gotta strike while the iron is hot.
I have never been to Watkins, Cooper, etc those shows, but Cooper is a really nice guy the times I've met him (he signed for me at training camp while I was waiting in line and I didn't even have a ticket for his line), so I'd imagine those guys are MUCH better. Also Babin and Herremans at their show are a lot of fun to talk to. It's just the superstar players that are obviously going to be the most crowded and the toughest.

PS Bruds are you sure that Shady is in So. Philly tonight and not Northeast? Could have sworn I read northeast. I already got him and I have plans so I won't be going just want to make sure we have it right.

He is doing the show that gargano and reese host and I'm pretty sure that is the one in south philly. Cooper should be at the one in the northeast tonight
