Few nice ones today to rebound.
Jack Butler, 2/2... And a heart warming note. Signed 8x10 (in BIC.. :( ) and a custom.

As for other people getting stuff back unsigned from Jack.. I guess he's extremely upset about people selling his signature. I assured him, and this was his response. Made me chuckle. Anyway, the sigs look better IP, and the scanner is making my customs look yellow and they're not.

Charley Trippi, 3/3. Signed 8x10, HOF 8x10, and a Swell..

Jerry Sloan, 1/1. Nice one to finally add to the Bulls collection.

Jeff George, 3/2. Added a tall boy type card with a note on the back.

When I first read that Butler, I thought it said, "I hope you're not dying." Gave me a good laugh, haha...cool stuff!

That was my intitial reaction.. I was like.. Uhhh..
That sucks man, I feel guilty now. I'd give you one of my cards from when I got him in March, but I gave one to my Steelers fan cousin, and am getting one graded and encapsulated by PSA. Did you write a letter like I did, saying you don't sell your collection? Guy seems a little paranoid, there really isn't much of his stuff on eBay.. Even his cards are scarce.
EDIT: Looks like if you send him $5 you should get your cards signed.Last edited by REDANDGOLDPRIDE; 10-17-2011 at 03:22 AM.

Two today. Both unexpected.
Dre Bly, 2/1. Sent custom back unsigned (one of my really old ones.. never thought I'd see one of those come back again!) but had two signed cards in there, in penny sleeves even. One of them bubbled, but it's all good. Would never have guessed these would have came back after this long. I should go through my pendings and write more off to bring good luck?

Bob Toneff, 1/1. 4x Pro Bowler for the 9ers in the 50's. This one is a bit of a bummer. This guy isn't a great signer, and the mail he does return can take up to a year or more. So I sent a $5 check to be safe and maybe increase my odds (with a donation enclosed on the outside even). This only took a couple months, but he must have been using a bad Sharpie, and these stupid Topps Reprint cards are horrible to get signed no matter how you prep them. I'll never send another one unless I request it in ballpoint. He did get a better looking signature to stick on the back, which is good enough for me, but eh.

I really need to rescan everything I have. Most of it is pictures with a camera from when I didn't have a scanner. My bucket is broken down by player, so like 49ers > Autographed Cards > Patrick Willis. Also have my TTM stuff mixed in there. I need to get my bucket back up to get rid of a ton of cert stuff I don't need anymore, but ugh.. What a daunting task. I'd like a supercollector badge too lol
