Bobby Doerr Health
I have a good friend who has family living very close to Doerr who told me he recently had a stroke....Doerr has been one of if not THE besT HOF TTM'er we've seen, I think it'd be a nice act to send letters of thought and encouragement his way. Just thought I'd put that out there for all to consider

Bobby had a stroke on August 11, 2011. He is currently out of the hospital and is staying with his sister at this point. As of October 7, 2011, a close family member verifies that Bob had only a "minor procedure" and "bounced" out of it with no important after-effects.

that is good to hear....still just gunna put it out there though, clearly he is having health issues now and given he is the oldest living HOF'er it might be a nice sign to let him know his fans are thinking of him

He's still signing which is remarkable but also suggests his stroke may have been minor. Heres to a speedy recovery, buddy.
