Hopkins and Hall?

They are both looking like they will have amazing careers, but who do you think will do better in their respective rookie years in the hobby world?

Due to the Nuge's huge start, do you think on average his rookies will go for higher than Hall's rookies? Or even be around the same?

It will be interesting to see, but in my opinion Nuge's rookies will sell higher than hall's because of his quick start, and I think oiler fans will go crazy once his rookies cards come out, especially The Cup.

I don't believe RNH will do hat trick every game or avg a point a game in his rookie year, but he certainly is one of the rising young stars. Hall of course is one too.

Way too early to start this conversation in my opinion, gotta wait until at least 3 months in so he can get used to NHL's speed and style until we can see if he's really gonna be a stud.

Card demand? It's a tough call, I think Nugent-Hopkins could match Hall's prices/demand.

One thing to consider is that Hall was the first real Next One in Oil Country. The fans were chomping at the bit to collect a megastar in Edmonton. Now there are more choices with the team having so many good young players

Hall has been hailed as the second coming of Messier.
I believe if anyone has the chance to be the "second coming if Gretzky" it's RNH.
It's funny how Eberle gets looked over even though he's just as good, maybe even better, than the two of them.

Likely a situation similar to Kane/Toews in Chicago. Likely will be very close or identical in terms of value and demand.

I'm as big of an Eberle fan as anyone (have followed him since his Junior days). He is nowhere close to the skill level of Hall or RNH. You have to remember, Eberle is 3 years older. You want to make Eberle comparisons, do it to his own draft class (Stamkos, Doughty, etc.). There's a reason 20 some players were picked before him that year. Eberle looks great because he was held back in Junior one year too long and completely dominated against players two years his junior. Will Eberle be a good player? Yes. Will he be a superstar? Not likely. RNH and Hall have the skills to become superstars.

I really don't care what year they were drafted or whatever. What matters is the play on the ice now.
Eberle is right with Hall and RNH there. It may be a matter of opinion, but that's mine.
