    Quick remains PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!! -
Jonathan Quick is the most modest of winners. When he plays well, he praises the Kings’ defensemen for their efforts in front of him. Praises the penalty killers. Praises the forwards for their defensive efforts.

Quick deflects credit to just about everyone except the guy selling soda in Section 103. One gets the impression that he’d prefer to sit in his corner of the locker room and talk about anything but himself.

Well, that’s not happening these days. Quick is the man of the moment for the Kings, as he recorded his third consecutive shutout in a 1-0 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday before 18,118 at STAPLES Center.

``He’s a stud. It’s no secret in here,’’ defenseman Matt Greene said of Quick. ``We all know it. He’s a stud. He’s been doing it for a long time now for us, and it’s just fun to have him there. He allows guys to play their game without a lot of fear. You never want to turn over pucks as a D-man, but at the same time, it’s always nice knowing he’s back there. You’ve got an ace in hole.’’

Jack Johnson scored the game’s only goal, with less than five minutes remaining in regulation, as the Kings improved to 5-1-1 and won a battle of two strong-starting Pacific Division teams.

I was waiting for you to start it, you got seniority here, thanks for doing it!

    Random thought:

Kopitar > Carey Price in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

There I said it, Montreal should have gotten Kopitar.

    Not that I'm complaining.

The NHL ordered Jonathan Quick be benched so "the other Jonathan", Bernier, in nets tonight for the silver and black attack against the Devs.

The NHL stated it just wasn't fair starting Quick anymore as he was demoralizing fantasy team owners opposing him and bringing down the overall GG in the entire NHL.

Yeah but I have Quick on my Fantasy League - Hahahaha (AND got 2 of his shutouts against Richard's team)

All I want to hear from everyone is Kopitar > J.Staal
and maybe some of his cards to SHOW that they are worth more than Staal....

I mean I think Jordan Staal is a solid player and all but he is clearly not in the same realm as Kopi, and to think otherwise is lunacy!

Tell that to the collectors who demand Staal over Kopi

I think Staal is a solid player too....but agree 1000% he is nowhere near Kopi's realm

That's news to me since I pick up almost everything under the moon of Kopitar for Austin's PC?

Look at the completed EBay items for both players and Kopitar's sales are trumping Staal on most every similar card they have................by a lot.

That's interesting to hear you have had that experience, I wish I would so I could snag stuff cheaper!

And that did NOT go well!

Could have been worse but definitely could have been better.

Hedberg made at least 2 brilliant doorstep saves on Kopitar alone that I saw.

Quick vs Lehtonen tonight ina rematch of that defensive duel in LA Saturday night.

This time it's is on Dallas ice.

Should be a good one, especially if Jonathan Quick is still red hot.

Doughty is back Saturday at Phoneix and Parse is in tonight with Rick and Brownie.
