Should really be able to do the set in almost one box, two at the most. During all those earlier years you never had to open more than 2 boxes, because packs contained 10-12 Cards and 36 packs per box.
If you are going to buy a box, open it and come on here and fill in any gaps that you might have. 90-91 are worth about $5 per box, don't pay a lot for them unless they are of course Tiffany.
Many people on here have extra cards of that year.

Thanks for the info, I know that product isn't much in value, they are just fun putting them together yourself, instead of buying the factory sets.
thanks again, Dave

I thought the Tiffany version of 90/91 Topps was only available as a special factory set, not inserted in boxes?

Tiffany are not inserted, nobody eluded to that. We only stated that Topps and Bowman 1990-91 were only worth $5.00 per box, unless they were Tiffany.

Some of the early 90s boxes had horrible correlation with doubles in the same pack. In one box you could end up half dozen of the same card and still need half the set. Not sure about Topps but OPC was really bad.

I once bought a box of 1990-91 Bowman and it was great. I completed the 264-card set from one box and I'm also pretty sure that I got the complete "Hat-Tricks" insert set.
The box contained 36 packs and 15 cards per pack (1 glossy card), but if I ever buy Bowman again to complete the set (I sold the first set) I'll probably buy atleast two boxes. It's not like they're very expensive, either.
