No suspension for Lucic
Shanahan has decided that Lucic will not serve a suspension for the open ice incident on Ryan Miller due to 'lack of intent'.
Thoughts?

How does that show any sense of pride? You'll just look like an idiot. If they wanted to show pride and show they take care of their goalie they should have done something about when it happened. Someone should have grabbed Lucic right after and started pounding on him. It's really quite embarrassing that no one did anything about it.

I personally see nothing wrong with it. If you are that far out of the net...you deserve what you get. If anything Miller should be suspended for trying to chop him down.
Ps - good luck "pounding" lucic.Last edited by Krazykanuk; 11-14-2011 at 07:14 PM.

and good luck for suspending for something that didn't happen. Did Miller swing his stick? Yes, Did he hit him? No. So what are you suspending for? Attempting to slash? Good luck no league will ever suspend for that. And you talk like Lucic is the toughest guy in the NHL. I really doubt that, and what he did was still against the rules, regardless of what your personal feelings are on it. Goalies can't be hit (and believe me I don't agree with the rule either).

Shanny, Ovy, Lucic and a few others, run arround the ice, like RABID DOGS and still do.

This is BS. Explain to me how it's fair that a check to a head that leads to a concussion gets a 2 minute penalty and Kaleta's headbutt that causes no injury gets him a couple game suspension.
Shanny is a joke...

Can I ask something? And I am asking this in all sincerity. I have watched the video at least 100 times. Seriously, 100 times. I keep looking to see a check to the head. I keep looking for any sign that Milan lowering his shoulder or trying to direct the check to Miller's head. I just can't see it. Every time I watch the video I see Milan straighten right up to try and brace himself for the hit. And yes, I see him push his hands out after the impact. I don't know why he did that. I don't know if it was a result of the hit. But I just don't see Milan skating in there to hurt Miller. I think Milan skated hard after the puck and when he realized there was going to be impact with Ryan Miller, he chose to brace for impact rather than try and avoid Miller. Yes, he should have tried harder to avoid Miller.
I'm trying my hardest to express my thoughts on this without being a Bruins fan that everyone hates. Personally, I would rather have Milan be suspended for 2 games than see all of this junk directed towards the Bruins and Bruins fans.
