Ended Up With A Box Of 2011 Bowman Draft
After deciding on a box of Draft over another box of Chrome, stopped by the LCS to pick it up today, along with a few Black Friday packs (and what ended up a Certified box). Can't really complain too much, but I'll just list what I pulled:
Dylan Bundy Prospect
Trevor Bauer Prospect
Bubba Starling Prospect
Fransisco Lindor Chrome and Base Prospects
Refractors
Javy Guerra
Matt Barnes Prospect
Jake Jarvis USA
Dany Toussaint USA
Alex White
Jason Kipnis
Tony Watson Blue /499
Brandon Nimmo Blue /499
Eric Fryer Blue Refractor /199

Tyler Goeddel Bowman Chrome Autograph
First Round Pick of the Rays, #41 overall (much better than the 41st Round, like I originally thought). Hit a solid auto, a couple Indians, and most of the big prospects...pretty happy overall! Glad to pull some Kipnis and Lindor, but would've liked to have seen a little more color. Oh well, I'm happy.

I don't know too much about Tyler Goeddel, is he good?

I didn't either.
First Round Pick, #41 overall...I'd like to think the Rays have done a pretty decent job in the draft lately, so I'd assume he has some potential. Heck, he was a first round pick...

Tyler Goeddel is a 2011 3B/SS with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Hillsbourgh, CA who attends St. Francis HS. Long, lean slender build, really projects well. 6.70 runner, easy athletic actions on defense, good balance at the ball, lots of arm strength, could become top level defensive 3B with experience/maturity. Right handed hitter, tall stance, some bat wrap, generates leverage and bat speed, ball jumps off barrel hard, present gap power with more to come. High ceiling young talent. Good student. Verbal UCLA.
Keith Law considers Goeddel the 35th best prospect in the draft, so he sees him as a borderline first rounder. Baseball America doesn’t like him quite that much, ranking him 89th overall. Either way, it sounds like he’s a guy that will be in the mix for the Yankees at number 51, their first selection.

When I saw him play he reminded me of Longoria with a bit less power but a little more speed. I think he's a player.

Thanks! The Kipnis refractor was probably my favorite card of the break...I love the kid. Got to meet him quite a few times in Columbus this year; awesome guy. I have a few programs, an ROMLB, and an 8x10 that he signed for me!
Thanks!
I'm going to hang onto that for now; thanks though!
Well that's a plus...his autos aren't selling very well on eBay (one of the lower valued ones in the set), but I may pick up a few more as a potential investment at $3 a pop.
