11-12 Artifacts Rookie Redemption Auto /99
Just wanted to get some feedback on how desireable these cards are in the minds of forum members? It would seem that Artifacts is trying to migrate its way into closer competition with the other auto /99 of the high end.
The redemption cards for RNK, Landeskog, Couturier and Hodgson appear to be selling for higher than I would have anticipated prices. Will the prices hold when the higher end releases happen?
Looking for your opinions and feedback on this. Thanks.

i have the number #1 auto redemption before the list came out. I had a good chance of it being the nuge, but could never be sure.
When that list came out and i saw that the nuge was #1, i was excited that i could own his first artifacts card!!! but that came to a stop when i needed money and decided to sell it on ebay.
i was highly shocked at how much it sold for...(my first "high-end" card i had ever gotten due to being new to the scene and opening cards). i personally think the value of the auto redemptions will go down once more auto rookies hit the markets and are live

sell lightning quick
for me they are stickers, so i dont want them to even touch my fingers.
but as soon as the on card autos come out the artifacts ookies will skyrocket south
(at least thats my estimate)

Are they stickers? No one knows this for sure yet as there hasent been a preview. Seeing how they are redemptions, maybe they wont be as they will have enough time to do these hard signed?

im sure they are stickers...every auto in artifacts this year was stickered...so i would think they would do the same with the auto redemptions.
but again..this is my opinion..

Yeah but the autofacts werent redemptions, they are pack pulled, so you would think to make these /99 more valuable, they would take the time to get them autographed before its time to redeem, as I heard its still going to be a while before we see artifacts redemptions. Would def make Upper Deck look REALLY good if they did it

They will almost certainly be stickers. The appeal in these is that they are *gasp* something new emanating from UD. Artifacts is a product that could likely be shelved at some point without it being really missed, so every so often they have to add a new element to add a little vitality to the program. Anything rookie and /99 will sell like hot cakes, especially if it's more difficult to obtain, as redemptions always seem to end up being. Try getting a hold of any of the 07-08 redeemed rookies parallels and you'll know what I mean.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

i agree with you on this one...if they are hard signed, that would be an AWESOME gift for those that get the cards.

It would seem that if they are /99 that stickers would be a travesty. The redemption cards auto /99 of RNH are selling for over $300...that would be one pricey sticker. I agree that IF they are stickers then anyone who has them should dump them now...BUT, what if UD does the right thing and makes the auto /99 on card? If anyone hears the inside scoop on this please let us know.
Thanks.

If they are hard signed that would be awesome...
quick question though, when are they releasing the list for the non-auto rc redemptions?
