I think a lot more seller would be more willing to accept "goods" if a lot more buyers were more willing to pay closer to market value. I typically try to sell around 90% of eBay, since I would lose just over 9% if I sold on eBay, and I don't charge shipping ($1.75) on anything over $6. Even then, I get people who would rather go buy it for more on eBay? Than from a member (me) of these forums.

True story here. Had a card listed on eBay for $55 BIN and on here for $45. Member hit me up about it, but only wanted to paye $40 for it. I passed, as $45 wash bottom dollar. It wasn't five minutes and that same member hit my $55 BIN on eBay. My eBay ID and SCF ID are different, so he was unaware that it was me. Granted, I got more money and he paid for shipping, but it's that kind of attitude on the sale forums, that has driven sellers to only accept gift payments. Me, I prefer gift, but will take goods if the buyer doesn't want to send gift. Except for international sales, then I ONlY accept gift because no
One is paying $20 for me to ship internationally with tracking, and I'm not getting screwed over.

lol thats kind of funny its amazing the discounts people expect. i had a card i was trying to sell only here not on ebay. a guy pmd me on it and i told him 14 dlvd. they were selling for 15-18 before shipping on ebay so 17-21 dlvd. he responds "sorry im looking for closer to ebay values" i was a little confused since 14 is obviously under ebay value and so i asked him why and this is the response i got "your at 14 at 17 bucks on ebay after fees your left with less then 14 bucks". hilarious, just giving a good deal and going under ebay just isnt enough anymore now apparently i have to take less then what i would get after fees on ebay.

And they obviously have zero, basic, mathematical skills. $17+$2.50 shipping equals $1.65+$0.23 in fees so you're still left with $15 and change.

I'm not that nice. Once someone gives me a small sample of their ignorance I'll push em the point where they never bother me again. Just had to do that tonight. I was informed that having a PhD not only means you're book smart, but also gives you all the common sense in the world so you could never be classified as ignorant. I find myself spending more and more time in this forum and less time in the trade/sell forums.

Just told him his PhD says he has book smarts, his PM's say he lacks common sense. He followed that up with "care to compare salaries". Wow. Some people. He's now on the ignore list.
