ridiculous awesome list, those are all great graphs. Ponder alone would be worth it. Only annoying thing is that it's downtown Minneapois at one of the most expensive / flashy clubs.
what are the odds your going?

Wow, it's been awhile before I've done any IP. Well today I got a little in, but a fore warning, this will probably get lengthy.
So today was "Purple Friday" in MN. On Purple Friday, KFAN has a morning/afternoon broadcast at a metro buffalo wild wings, then in the evening The vikings have an event of assorts at a metro bar. John Randle usually appears every couple of weekends, at the bar one. Today he was a little out of the metro in Buffalo. I am up at my uncle's which is like 10 mins NW of Buffalo and he is a big Randle fan, so we decided to go.
Before we start I'd like to say, I went to a Purple Friday event in Burnsville, a few years ago, when I was still in high school, with my grandpa. We ate before and then got Randle to sign a couple of cards, before we left. It was very dead that time, probably 15 people there and he signed, chatted and took pics with everyone. I was expecting a similar size crowd tonight, figuring it's in a small town out of the immediate metro and there was a small crowd at B'ville which is one of the most populated south metro towns.
Anyways me and my uncle got their at 5:00 (He was supposed to arrive at 5:30) We each had a card (both for me; my uncle just wanted to meet him). We got a booth and the waitress tells us he will come around to each table and chat and sign for fans (The place was packed btw, I was suprised). She then gives us each an 8X10 for free. We were like "sweet more stuff to get signed". The waitress then tell us they have John Randle Commemorative cups for $3.50 each. That he will sign if you buy. So me and my uncle each gets one.
John arrived at 5:30, like planned, and started bartending (not really that much, he gave people beer). We were still eating and the waitress still insisted he was going to go table to table. I finished eating and around 6:10 I finally went over to the Bar, which he was still at (was only going to be there till 6:30). It was a complete mosh pit, but I worked my way to the front and awkwardly sat on a stool (I am only 19, but look like 14 so it felt weird haha) He wouldn't come over, though.
Finally I got him to come over and I asked him if he could sign my card, 8X10 and cup (sounds so greedy to me) and he's like "Not unless you buy a cheerleader calender". The cheerleaders were there selling and signing calenders for $20. I didn't want to pay that much for a calender, especially since I don't need/use one and could get one at the dollar store (not a cheerleader one, but I'm not that picky). My uncle then offered to pay the $20 for it, so I got a calender personalized to me (I hate personalized stuff) and then John signed my 8X10 and 1 of the cards. He still wouldn't sign my cup and was kind of a jerk about it. I wasn't too upset though. He did sign my uncle's cup and he was nice enough to give it to me.
Sorry for the Whine fest, I am just upset cause I know john is a better guy than he was tonight, but my uncle now insists he's a prick. Plus it was a hassle, which is sometimes to be expected, but not at what is supposed to be an organized event, plus always upsetting no matter what and that was $50 (combined) me and my uncle really weren't expecting or intending on spending.
On the brightside he did add the "HOF '10" inscription on the 8X10 and card.
Recap:
John Randle 3/2 (technically; card, 8X10 and cup)
MVC 1/0 (I guess; calender)

Also, for anyone in the Metro tomorrow, Vikings DT Kevin Williams will be at MOA from 1-2pm at Peeps and Co. for their grand opening (from my understanding it's a store that will sell peeps all year round). I won't be able to make it, but I thought I'd share the welth.
I'm hoping to make it to the Timberwolves free scrimmage at the Target Center, on Monday, at noon, but we'll see. haha

Today, I hit up the Wolves open scrimmage. It was my first time going to it and I didn't know what to expect. It was a lot busier than I expected, and security was a lot tighter than I expected, too.
Here's what I got (not much):
Customs:
0/2 Ricky Rubio (signed about a dozen, but stopped before he got to me)
1/1 JJ Barea (Signed before the scrimmage started and it was too busy; cool guy)
Cards:
0/1 Luke Ridnour (Was MIA haha)
0/1 Brad Miller (also nowhere to be found)
0/1 Kevin Love (didn't sign;security guard said he never does)
0/1 Wes Johnson (signed, but didn't get to me)
Others:
Beasley, Martell Webster, D Will and a couple opthers signed. I was going to get them on a hat, but didn't get to any of them.
Overall it was a cool event where they only scrimmaged for 10 minutes, then made the Rookies have a dance off, then had a dunk contest (D Will won, imo). They first 15 minutes they had 2 fans come on the court and play a game of "PIG" against Beasley and Rubio. Beasley won. Then the next 10 minutes they had 4 fans come down and play "Knockout" (we called it Lightning when I was in school) against Barea and Anthony Tolliver. Thisone fan actually won both games Knocking out Tolliver, last, in the first game and Barea, last, in the 2nd game. Lol
I was disappointing about the lack of autographing they did, especially since they are known as one of the bettersigning teams in the league, it was an open scrimmage/fan appreciation event and all the other scrimmage successes on here.
I did enjoy it, fun event with the guys mostly goofing and joking around. And I still left with a smile when, afterwards, I was down by the court and Barea walked up to me and gave me a T shirt, that they were throwing into the crowd, and said "Here you go buddy".Last edited by Autofreak2842; 12-19-2011 at 09:06 PM. The lack of graphs is karma for your keeping my kinsler graph.
How bout you return it as a Christmas present and then I'll lift the hex off your graphing,
Dont know why you won't be an honest person here.

Karma doesn't exsist, There is no hex on my graphing and I am not not being honest.
It was my first time at the event, I am more relaxed and not as pushy as most people at those things and I don't bug security guards until they give in and let me get whoever I want. That is why I don't do amazing everytime and don't have a spectacular collection, not a hex or karma.

So you are perfectly respectful to people at pro signings then you steal shamelessly from a fellow forum member who tries to help you find hamitons hotel and get an auto.
Makes a lot of sense.
You'll find out someday that karma does exist, and if a 10 dollar auto means that much to you that you steal it that's your problem.
