    Why i Hate Breaking Boxes!!

Busted my box of MOT last night needless to say it was the very reason i don't bust much for boxes and would rather buy just the singles i want.

Stefan Struve Auto (Prob. the worst Auto i could've got)
Josh Koschek Gear(Prob. the worse Gear to get)

That was it for hits so i'm pretty sure i was shorted a dual Hit as the box says each box has a Dual Auto, Gear or Auto/Gear.

ya, thats the game we play, but missing hits are ridiculous. Nothing like pulling a monster though even though those are sometimes few and far between as well.

Yeah, i went through the box again even checked all the cards on the back to make sure i didn't miss a 1/1 or /8. Ah well like Kyle said nothings guaranteed. Think Topps would send me something in place of my missing hit? Don't deal with the Cust. Ser. part too much.

ya i sent in for missing hits in Knockout. Seems like I had to send in all the wrappers and cut the upc off the box and have a receipt from purchase. I had a missing auto relic and sent me 2 in return. go to topps.com and there will be instructions on how to handle it.

Topps will take care of you. Here's a video that goes over the simple process.

    Good luck!

I bust boxes because to me half the fun of the hobby is the chase of finding something good and not just buying it out-right.

I have gotten shorted hits before, Topps wants everything from you.. wrappers, UPC code, a letter, receipt, etc.

And every "missing hit" I ever received was crap.. usually I spend more on postage sending the stuff to Topps than what I could get for the card.

Yeah, i agree with you JB seems like alot to go through for a dual Gear of Carwin and JDS or better yet Marquardt and whoever. I'll prob. chalk this one up and stay away from MOT like was my original plan to start with.

Yeah I have zero luck with busting boxes. I also have zero luck when buying hobby packs. Therefore I've just resorted to buying singles and sets off the bay.
