SMVintage 2012 IP Thread

Hey Everyone-

I got a new job, that involves TONS of travel which is cool despite the fact that my TTM requests are going to be few and far between this upcoming year. HOWEVER, I do get to travel to some great places with many different sports teams! So, I decided I would make a thread with where I'm going to be and what successes I get IP! If I'm in your town, don't be shy- hit me up and lets do some graphing! Also, I always love tips of appearances and I'll hook you up if you help me out!

Here's My tentative schedule:

Montgomery, AL until 01/29 (Braves Caravan on 01/29)
Washington DC 01/30-02/24 (Plans for Capitals and Wizards Games)
Montgomery, AL 02/24-04/15 (NOTHING LOL)
Dallas, TX 04/15-07/27 (Possibly Rangers)
Charlotte, NC 07/27-09/15 (No Clue)
Washington, DC 09/15-10/01 (No Clue)

I will also have the chance to travel weekends free of charge and plan on Philly, Vegas, NYC and a few other places throughout the year.

First IP for the year. In Montgomery, AL so this is about as exciting as it gets!

My little brother had a showcase for Colleges/Professional Scouts and these players were there:

Tim Hudson 4/4
Wes Helms 3/3
Terrence Long 4/4 (gave one to another collector)
Colby Rasmus 2/2 (was not scheduled to be there, I brought them on a limb and got lucky!)




Willing to trade 2 of each (except the Rasmus, would trade 1)
Next up: Braves Caravan, 01/29

I'm in Charlotte and it looks like you might be here when the Democratic Convention is. I mainly do NBA but hit me up if you want to graph something here (I've only been here a year, still learning).

I'm guessing you work for an airline? Or a traveling salesman?
Your going to be in Charlotte July and August? That is where the White Sox AAA team is located. Hickory 1 hr ride and Kannapolis 35 min ride. I believe they are A ball team though.

I actually scored a job with the FDIC (the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) as a Financial Institution Specialist- pretty pumped as it's exactly what I want to do and involves TONS of travel (and per diem!)! I actually know all about the Knights- I have a friend who is/was on the team (he may have been moved down)...

Yesterdayr I decided to hit up the Washington Auto Show to get D'Angelo Hall and Lorenzo Alexander- Hall was a no-show due to being at the Pro Bowl but was still able to get Alexander on 2 cards. No scans due to being on assignment, but I'll upload them when I get home!

Next Up- Washington Auto Show Thurs

Another night at the Washington Auto Show- they were tight on security and were strict with amounts, was still able to grab 2 of both Brooks Laich and John Carlson. Scans will come at a later date when in off of assignment!
