2011-12 Score - Parallels Question (any missing/not produced?)

I have been in seach of these 2 cards since this product was released and i have yet to see a single one on the bay, this site, or locally... actually anywhere on the net to be honest.

Has anyone seen these by chance? Is there anyone else out there that collects a certain player that is also missing a gold and/or black version. I understand these may be short printed but we are not talking a Crosby card nor 1 of 1's...

i have sent an inquiry to Panini but i thought i'd also post here to see if anyone else was looking for other black/gold parallel cards for their personal collections (your player too of course)

Some of the Score parallels are very tough to find. I think I've only seen a couple Price Gold Rush cards and maybe a single Black.

Ive seen about 4 Gold Sbisa's(Own 1)

Yet to see any black parallels though

What you have here is a normal-ish parallel (Gold Rush) in a low-end product. Gold Rush cards will hit one per box, but most people don't bother putting low-end product up on ebay, so it seems they are a lot more rare than some other cards. You're best bet to search through the forums for score breaks & score case breaks. You can check with SCF Member Dany (he's working on the set and might have seen one). As for the Black ICE cards. These are rare in their own right so it makes them pretty tough to find and I bet 1-2 of them would show up on ebay in the next 5 years for the regular player. I pulled one, Patrick Marleau, out of a blaster from Target. Hope this helps and it will pop up.

i've searched the net and it doesn't appear that anyone has pulled a gold or black Johnny Boychuk at all. I haven't had an issue tracking any of his cards except for 1/1's and these two black/gold parallel's... if they were 1/1 then i can undstand that they are rare and i'd have to keep looking but these are a low end player from a low end product that shouldn't be hard to find... or at least not this hard.

i can maybe understand the black parallel but there should be at least 1 gold pulled by now and there doesn't seem to be.

anyways... just thought i'd post here as the sportscardforum.com faithful have been helpful in the past :)

I can't confirm this, but I haven't seen a single black or gold parallel of a Bruins Stanley cup winner or an all rookie team base card, so my guess is that they were never made.

I have only seen 1 gold Yip hit ebay and 2 owned by another member on HI. He was kind enough to send 1 my way.

Black, I have the only 1 so far and it was a great surprise I got in the mail.

There are thousands of cases of these, just like Victory. Golds come 1 per box and Blacks 1 per case just like Victory.

The gold is way harder to pull than you think. There are 500 cards and each has a Gold and usually these a produced in equal numbers. That is 500 boxes per 1 gold of the player you are looking for. Black you can calculate lol. This is also a low-end product so most of these won't see the light of day on ebay. It will either be at local shows or shops.

I also won't be surprised if it doesn't pop out for years since collectors don't break enough of this stuff and it's from the lowest end of the spectrum. It easier to find 1/1s or other low-numbered stuff from other products especially high-end cause the more people actually break the stuff and it is worth while to put on ebay.

I am still looking for my Yip Victory Black Rookies from last year,10-11.

Come think of it you may be right... I haven't come across one (but i haven't gone out of my way too much looking for anything other than J. Boychuk's).

Just checked the bay for a boston gold/black parallel and nothing...

I am happy that someone hit a Montoya Black right when the product came out. I have not seen another one since!

Ive only seen a couple of the Gold Rush for Tyrell, and only one black (that I now own).

I have yet to see his auto'd version though. I didnt see a 10/11 auto version of his for awhile though, saw one a good bit after the product came out, paid about $25 for it, have seen 3 more since, and have picked each one up for under $5 shipped lol.
