    What am I missing here???

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/JASON-KIDD-1...item4ab32419c5

1,600 dollars? I know it's a great card, and I'd love to have it, but why on earth would someone price it at that?

I believe the Jordan version of that recently sold for $18000, so people probably think, if Jordan got that much a Jason Kidd might be worth that.

Exact same reason why someone would price a rare 90's insert of Keith Van Horn might go for $10 if the Jordan goes for $1000.

Thank you for the response. That makes a lot more sense to me now. Still dont think the Kidd card is worth 1,600, but it's obviously worth more than I thought.

I agree with you and don't think it's worth $1,600. It should be maybe $100-150 card at most, but I could be wrong since there might be a Kidd collector with deep pockets and love this card.

The Jordan was graded a 9.5 though, but I still don't think that was worth that much either, but someone was willing to pay for it. The Jordan price should be considered an anomaly and nor a norm, but people nowadays seem to take the latest ebay price as the norm market price, which I think is incorrect.

Lets not forget though, that is a very, very, very tough pull, is it worth $1600? probably not, but back then, pulling a card that low numbered was like pulling a logoman today, nearly impossible.

Definitely a nice card, but I don't see someone dropping over 1K on it, but I could be wrong, I mean, stranger things have happened!
