    Would you do this trade?

I just made the trade in my fantasy league and i'm very happy. But would you make this trade in real life?

    Max Pacioretty
    2012 1st Round Pick
    2012 3rd Round Pick

    for

Henrik Zetterberg (Coming to my team)

I think Hank is a great player and will be for a few years to come. But he's on the wrong side of 30 while Max Pacho is still under 25 and is blossoming into a power forward. Hank's great but he doesn't fit an organizational need - and that 1st rounder in 2012 for the Habs may be a top 10 yet.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I liked the age difference, and the 2 draft picks are what did it for me. Thanks for the deal.

Good trade in fantasy, not in real life.

Zetterberg probably has five years left, and already I think he may be on the decline....still better than Pacioretty will ever be, but the cost is high. I'd take the younger player even with his lower ceiling, especially since he comes at one-quarter the salary and I'm getting what should be another building block with that first-round choice.

Well I guess the habs might be a top 10 so yeah, in real life it might not make the most sense. It was also a first round and 3rd round pick that I acquired those previous trades (not my original picks)

Exactly. This has PG written all over it lol.

I took Zetterberg this seasonin my FL, what a waste of a top three pick. I totally blew that round.

My second overall pick was another bust. I took Carey Price hoping he's replicate last year's numbers.

And I took Crosby in the fourth round. Ooops, another hope pick.

I've been last since week three lol.

I traded Kovalchuk for Zetterberg two years ago when Kovy was looking for the big deal, I was afraid he was going to bolt for the KHL. Fantasy wise Zetterberg is definately on the decline, definately wouldn't make this trade in a keeper league.
