    CyberErik's Spring Training Superthread

In response to people asking questions about different stadiums, especially bradenton, I decided to make a thread where I will from now until I leave for Florida Spring Training in March, make a diagram like this for every stadium that I have advanced knowledge of. I will put them all in the first post of this thread.

Bradenton is first up, others have described it as a mecca of autographs. I have to agree, as I spent but one day there last spring and got David Price, Evan Longoria, Pedro Alvarez and many, many more.

Here is my diagram of the layout of the park, spots where you can stand to graph are marked with X'es

The bullpens are right in the outfield, and there is no tunnel per se. Players have to walk right past the concourse of the stands to get onto the field out of the clubhouse, therefore standing on spots X3 or X5 will get you these guys. You will seriously be within 5 feet or so of most of them, easily within earshot to ask them to sign.

Spot X4 is right by the clubhouse. There is a waist-high fence separating you from the batting cage and players as they enter and leave the clubhouse. You will be able to get guys taking BP or coming out of the clubhouse in addition to getting them in the spots I previously mentioned.

Outside the stadium is good too. Spot X1 is awesome. If you leave the stadium and walk to the spot on the map, you will see a chain link gate about 6 feet high with the bus inside. Players before the game will arrive in their own cars (remember florida is a small place- many players live in the area and drive rather than bus it). Last year johnny damon, longoria, david price, bj upton and other road players drove rather than bus, and they have to park OUTSIDE the complex- i.e. they will literally be on foot walking among you to get into the stadium. Longoria walked right past us before we recognized him last year.

Spot X2 is the pirates parking lot. It is a rectangular lot with 2 driveways. You have to try to flag cars down as security won't let you into the lot itself. However my buddy and I managed to flag down Ryan Doumit and Pedro Alvarez last year, so definitely worth a shot.

    Hope this helps everyone!
