Nice Bernie! Is his stuff expensive? I would imagine it is considering he was a career Yankee.

His autographs have kinda tanked now that Topps has released more in the past couple of years. He was a tough autograph to get from packs while he was playing and that card probably would have sold for $150 when the set came out.

Agree it was near impossible to pull his autos. There still hard to find as not many are lised on ebay or for trade. I have seen where Topps is watering down the market not only with his autos but quite a few players which sucks in my opinion it was fun chasing down or waitng for the rare sighting of a card you needed.

I'm pretty sure Topps never even had an autograph of his before while he was playing. It was only after he retired that they got him to sign for some of their products. I'm trying to think back but can't even come up with one.

Andy Pettitte who also had a somewhat limited amount of autographs on the market has some upcoming Topps autographs as well that I know of.

You are correct I haven't seen any Topps auto's of Bernie myself, pretty much saying that Topps is flooding the hobby guys like Koufax, Bernie soon to be Mays, Aaron ect which in my opinion will drop the the value which is a good thing if your a collector for the enjoyment but it will really suck for those who buy to flip.
