Mark Scheifele?
I live in South Dakota, so the three main NHL teams within a good day's drive are Minnesota, Colorado and Winnipeg. As always, I'm still collecting Wild stuff but, since I can't do much more on my Prosser collection and Zack Phillips has yet to make his NHL debut, I'm thinking of another player PC. Not something huge, but a minor PC.
So, I got to thinking about some of the Winnipeg players and particularly Scheifele, since he was the first draft pick of the newly re-established Jets. I don't know a lot about him, however, and was hoping some of you Jets fans could help me out. Is he a player that they can build their franchise around? Which current NHL player is he comparable to? Will he be fairly collectable?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh, and I have the first piece of my collection on its way already: a Scheifele YG.

I'm not a Jets fan, but Scheifele has loads of potential and I could see him as a regular Jet next season.

I know of one HUGE Schiefele collecter, he has has the black diamond 1/1 already justaheads up personally am a huge fan of Schiefele

Nice! Not really worried with 1/1s. I kinda got fed up with chasing them, especially when half of my #1 PC guy's cards are 1/1s.

Anyways. I think Scheifele will get expensive in the long run... But if you like the player (Like Ryan) go with it. Just set your standards and goals!

Haha! Yes, James, I'm really excited for Nate right now. He's one of the Wild's most consistent defenseman right now, he just signed a new two-year one-way contract extension, scored his first NHL goal the next day and he and his wife are expecting their first child in August and are now looking for a house in the Cities instead of staying in Houston. It's an exciting time for the Prossers.
As to Scheifele, I'm not too worried. He's not going to be a main PC guy, but a fun one to have some cards of. If anything, Zack Phillips is my next #1 PC guy.

It's hard to say, but he looks like one day ue could he a #1 c but I think it will be a while to develop
In a way, this may sound weird, but he still leaves me with a kind of worry, and feeling that he may not work out, but I think he just needs time
