Auction question
So looking at this auction, I'm wondering what the "PSA/DNA Certified" means - does that just mean that they certify the auto?

For the record, I would state that the auction is insanely overpriced. And it's not the only PSA 10 - just the only PSA 10 with an in-person auto.

DNA means that the autograph is by the individual whom the likeness represents on the card and not somebody else.
DNA provides proof of a non-forged signature.

Means both Craig, basically the card itself is gem mint PSA 10, and also DNA certified by them that the signature is authentic. Insanely overpriced? Well yes lol, maybe a 300-400$ from a serious Toews collector? I mean a Toews Ultimate AU RC /99 only books 300$, with a PSA 10 ud probably get 400$ ballpark, and I think thats a bit better than an auto'd YG. People are insane with their values on ebay lol

Wouldn't the in-person auto actually decrease the value of the card if it was graded a 10?

to some people, thats a kind of grey area I believe, Toews collectors will give it a premium due to a unique piece, others would say it decreases value. Def a grey area with no real answer

How would it decrease the value when some cards were only signed In-Person, many of them long before companies started to do Authorized Issued Signatures.
How would it cheapen a Howie Morenz Auto who died almost 50 years before an authorized signature was ever placed into a pack of Hockey cards???
