The Season is Definitely Back-Daytona Speedweeks Discussion Thread
after one day we have had wrecks, controversy, and amazing pack practice. Thoughts on Speedweeks so far (big crash in Shootout practice, pack racing appearing to be back, the 48's 500 car not being allowed through tech and the C pillar taken off of it?)
I am intrigued already!! Tomorrow night should be great

oh boy
Tony and Kurt have some history at Daytona. But looks like when Kurt tried to move up to go around the the car in front tony turned him. looked innocent. Normally Tony likes to turn his teammate.

Still can't believe he saved it that first time. Strongly dislike the guy, but there's no denying his talent.

absolutely agree with you-every driver has their signature race and this was Kyles IMO.

Loved seeing the old pack racing back too-the drivers need to learn not to bump on the left rear and the racing will be awesome-this was the best Daytona race I have seen in a long long time.

I dont like kyle either, but he can drive. cant believe that was gordons first time on his roof
after all the crashes due to the car in front trying to go up a lane and the car pushing not knowing it. I am sure nascar will enforce a bump drafting rule again.

I thought it was a great race. Back to how plate racing should be. And Kyle.... Just wow!. Dude is awesome with a steering wheel. Maybe he can keep his head and get over the hump on the Cup side.
