Not true. Blasters and full boxes are all the same. Theres no hobby or retail. Il pulled two nugent Hopkins sp RCs from blasters, Corey perry auto, two Landeskogs and Craig
Smiths NNO all from blasters. Blasters are the only place to find the Supreme Team inserts as well

All my best hits were from the blasters

I'd wonder if it mattered US vs. Canada. I'm in the US. And really can't afford much besides blasters or packs. Even then with packs your risking they were searched.
I'll see what I can do with some stuff this time around. I think my options are 11-12 Pinnacle or 11-12 Score on blasters. I busted some Pinnacle a couple weeks ago and got a Joe Thornton Threads.

Yeah, go for the Score blasters, they're just as good as boxes. With a box you get a gold, with a blaster you get a Supreme Team. There isn't much to search for in packs. I've read that the alternate photo cards are a little thicker, that's about it. No jersey cards or anything.

Ok, I have 2 11-12 Glossy Parallels. Both Bruins, both Horton, actually. Glossy #498 says "Glossy" around the number. 56 says nothing around the number. Is this normal?

Somebody told me that all the Bruins players regular cards looked glossy because they were Cup Champs. Do not know how valid a point that is.

    * All Boston Bruins GLOSSY Parallels do not have glossy written on the back

    I'm also looking at this...

It is normal. The one at the end of the set is a Stanley Cup Playoffs Highlight card, not a regular Bruins base card.

So essentially it's considered an "insert" but get the glossy parallel? Or is this normal base and the Bruins all get glossy finish?

Not an insert, a subset. Cards 1-500, the base set, all have glossy parallels. But only the normal Bruins cards, #51-65, have glossy parallels that don't say Glossy on the back.
