The backs of the cards, as you may suspect, are blank.

    They're another, fairly rare, parallel.

They're a parallel. Short-printed to a serious degree. First year they did them (08-09) UD confirmed the print run to be /15. They haven't announced the print runs in subsequent years unfortunately, but it's believed to be somewhere between 5 and 15.

I know a couple of years ago it was 1:244, but I'm not sure about 2010 or 2011.

    I think 5-15 is a good guess.

if buying blank backs make sure that it isn't one of the box bottom blank backs as some sellers have just cut up the box bottoms and have been selling them as blank back

I was wondering about that. Is there any real way to tell?
