    2nd and 3rd in 2013 for Oduya

Good move for the Hawks picking up a d-man. Now they need to get Steve Ott

I think I'm about 20 minutes away from deeming today to be the 4th fireable offence for Pierre Gauthier.

Just keep telling yourself: "No trade is better than a bad trade"

Too many centres is a nice problem to have. Hodgson can move to Wing... Malholtra is injured. Lapierre can go Wing too if Manny gets back

This is how they've been playing it lately:
    Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
    Higgins-Kesler-Booth
    Raymond-Hodgson-Hansen
    Malholtra-Lapierre-Bitz/Weiss

wityh Manny taking a lot of defensive zone face-offs. Hodgson can play the wing, Pahlsson can play the wing.

As it stands at this moment, we're going into the playoffs with 6 centers on roster, 1 veteran and 1 young guy waiting in the wings at the same position and 2 #1 goalies. Van is tougher than they were last year, both mentally and physically.

    Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
    Higgins-Kesler-Booth
    Raymond-Pahlsson-Hodgson
    Malholtra-Lapierre-Hanson
    (Weiss, Bitz, Reinprecht, Schroeder)

    Bieksa-Hamhuis
    Salo-Edler
    Alberts-Rome
    (Tanev, Sulzer, Ballard-IR)

    Luongo
    Schneider

I'd say the one question mark left here is defense.

With Gauthier involved, this is especially true. His bad trades are truly horrible.

    +1 !!

They said last year was a slow year with only 22 deals, and with 5 mins to go here, we have 8! I'm sure there will be a few that go through last minute, but still a slow, boring year! And Keith Aulie being traded.... WHY LEAFS?! If we finish the year as the number 9 seed in the conference, that is a worst case scenario, and we aren't better than the team who has played like junk and who has had terrible goaltending for the last 10 games. I'd rather tank worse and get a better pick if that were the case. Terrible trade deadline year in general and as a Leaf fan.
