Question about Potential New PC Player
I have been a NY Rangers team collector off and on since 1992. Lately, I have been thinking about focusing my PC on a specific player. While I am a die hard Rangers fan, having spent 10 years in Ottawa, I am also a big Sens fan too. Today the Lightening traded former Ranger Matt Gilroy to Ottawa and now I am thinking he might be the perfect PC player for me with the Rangers and Sens connection. However, my question is do you see Matt Gilroy as being a player that will appear in some future sets, or is he the type of player that will only appear in O-Pee-Chee and Score? I don't really want to start a PC of him if there aren't going to be new cards to chase when new sets are released.

I don't think Gilroy is good enough now or ever will be good enough to appear in anything other then UDS2, Score, and OPC.

Thanks for your comment. That is what I figured the answer would be. It seems like "depth" defencemen don't really get a lot of love in the hobby, and I imagine he falls into that category.

He's got to move into (at least) a 2nd pairing role before you can count on many more releases than what you've already said - and, at least for now, I don't think you can count on that happening.
