Ok, while we are at it what if any is the difference between a patch and a swatch? Or is it just different wording for the same thing.

Patch normally means a multi-color piece of fabric taken from the numbers/letters (front or back) of a players jersey.
Occasionally it will be single color and taken from a warmup or pair of shorts, but it still needs to originate from the team name, logo, player number, or player name to be considered a patch.
Swatch usually just means a single color piece of GU/fabric/jersey.
Panini has further complicated the issue by adding "Prime" to the mix...
Basically means patch but occasionally they sneak other parts of the jersey in and pass them off as such.

These days Topps is getting confused with the term "relic" as they include "Retired Rings" and "World Series Pins" into the "relic" category. 8 boxes of Jumbo and each ring has replaced a relic, yet the box says 2 relics per box.
CMB means "Check My Boobies!" Haven't found a nice set yet on a baseball forum though.

"relic" as defined by Websters; "any material that is considered funny as performed by Eddie Murphy"

A relic doesn't necessarily refer to a jersey, though, as the term can mean basically any item of cultural, memorial, or historical value.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
