Too bad the playoffs are already out of reach, but still... and since already complaining about a good thing, why not Dallas Eakins? He would have worked better with our young team/roster. Oh well, Carlyle isn't bad.

i think the dumbest thing I've heard is that the careers of Schenn, Kadri etc are ruined because of his coaching. Nothings going to change with a new coach in Toronto until hey get players who aren't soft. Maybe they should watch some Marchand tapes.

yes i am an anaheim ducks fan, and yes the toronto ducks er leafs have a lot of the same staff as the 06/07 ducks but the one thing the ducks had was hof defensemen in pronger and scotttty, and depth up front and oh ya talent, that more importantly burke had no part in developing or putting together".

yes he drafted bobby ryan, yes he brought pronger and scotty but neidermmeyer was coming regardless and pronger had slept his way out of edmonton, and his marquee pick up was whats that leaf fans???? ya francois bauchemin, who is awsome when paired with neidermeye but heck so would mike komisarek. carlyle is a good coach but this team doesnt have the roster. i mean mcarthur on top 6 line is ludicrous/. fire burke now

I think Toronto actually has a half-decent line-up. Their problem, in my eyes, has completely been coaching. Not just his ineptitude, which is epic, but I think the players just weren't playing for him anymore.

Carlyle is a HUGE upgrade in this department. HUGE. I wish he was still coaching Vancouver's farm.
