Another Canadian top-heavy top-10 list with a token European thrown in. ; )

I just meant it was top heavy, pointing (awkwardly) to the top 5. I haven't decided how tongue-in-cheek I'm trying to be, but I wonder what 11-20 would look like.

I don't want to get in trouble for posting the whole list, but you can see it here - lots of Europeans in the top 25:

It's a fascinating list because it's a player-voted...I saw a partial the other day online. I'm surprised that Rask is so high up and Price is missing. Do you think that would happen if NHL writers draft the rankings?

The Bruins seemed to get a lot of love in general on this list, with six in the top 50. I doubt the writers would have included either Krejci or Rask on their lists, but the Bs are champs and have obviously earned respect from the guys voting in these polls.
The two that surprised me were Iginla at 26 and Vinny at 50. I think Iginla is being given a lot of respect for past performance because I don't think he's playing at that level anymore, and I'm even more surprised that Lecavalier is considered top-50 at all anymore. He seems to be a shadow of his old self, but maybe that's my eyes missing something those guys see on the ice.

I'm surprised Ilya Kovalchuk didn't make it into the top 10. That guy is a beast on the ice!

I'm surprised any Canuck made the list at all, seeing as it's player voted.

Still hanging on to that persecution complex, huh?
Get over it.......the league doesn't hate your Canucks, no matter how badly you wish to believe otherwise.
