    Sweet 16/Elite 8

Booked a trip to Phoenix yesterday, going for a week and will be attending both Sweet 16 games and the Elite 8 game.

Obviously don't know the teams yet, but I was wondering if anyone has ever graphed such a weekend before? And if there is any fan fests or signing type events during the 3 day span (23rd is an off day)?

Also, I was able to score LL tix, byone of the tunnels, so I was wondering if anyone has graphed U.S. Airways Arena before and/or anyone could tell me about the arena and what graphing at it is like?

    Thanks!

I went to a sweet 16 game one time, but I arrived late so no graphing. I had heard it was pretty low key though, as most college events are.

All I can say is be prepared for more than college basketball players. Keep your eyes open in the stands as these types of events can cause some stars to pop up!

I used to work for the Suns and if you can get down by one of the entrances the players come out of then you have a good shot at getting some autographs. I am not sure how it is for college games but typically NBA players would sign.

This is what I'm hoping for. Lol Sometimes it can be so hard to be prepared though, cause you never know some of the people who may show up. I don't really know any celebrities or anything from the Phoenix area, but hopefully there will be some Basketball legends and/or current NBA stars.

My tickets are right by one of the tunnels so this is definitely encouraging!

    Thanks!

Well, I'm not going to lie, I'm quite disappointed in the region. Besides Mizzou the star power is not in the West. I'm excited to possibly get the chance to graph them, being a fan and the fact that they have a heck of a team this year.

I don't think Michigan St. deserved a 1 seed and from a grapher's stand point besides 2 players and their coach, not too many big ones. Louisville has a couple of decent players. Siva is pretty good. Pitino would be nice to get too.

Marquette is a great team, but they really have no big name players. I'm pretty bummed/upset that Florida will have to play Mizzou in round two. wish they woud of got the 6 and not a highly overrated Murray St. team with no big name players. I'm also a big UF fan and they have some great players.

IF LBSU can pull a couple upsets Casper Ware would be great to get.

Besides that the region is kind of ehh. Still excited for the trip and all, but just a little bummed at the moment. Lol

I may be able to help you if Marquette makes it. My friend's brother plays for Marquette.
