Best of luck to the guy. He fit the Spurs backup role very well but unfortunately we only got small looks at him. His health is the most important and I'm glad he understands that and was able to walk away.

My favorite Longhorn of all-time (yes even over Durant). Sad to see him go out like this but he has to do what is best for him. Apparently he has been defying doctors orders for years. It was great to see him play for my favorite team this year.

Best wishes to him, woulda be cool to see what u could have done if he never got the neck injury a few years back.

He began working with the Spurs FO already but his contract was just traded to the Warriors. I don't believe he's officially filed his retirement papers...so I don't know if he's still with the Spurs.

He'll make a excellent addition on a already quality FO......the Spurs seem to always find ways to win both on and off the court making wise moves.
