I'm sort of new to baseball card collecting. Me and my father were really into it when I was growing up, but we sold off most of our collection way back with the exception of a few pieces(mostly Ken Griffey Jr and George Brett).

Anyways, I'm a huge Royals fan and am always looking for anything Royals. My favorite players are Alex Gordon, Joaquim Soria and Aaron Crow. I've mostly gotten into the hobby through ebay and a local store, so figured I'd give these forums a shot too.

I haven't used a forum in a while, so if anyone has any advice on how to get started, that would be great. I have an ebay account with 150+ feedback and have had a paypal account for the last 10 years.

Also, how do I go about getting started trading online? I skimmed through the rules and my profile and noticed I have a warning that doesn't allow any trades/buys/sells. How long does this last?
