    authentic jordan rook?

so ive got this POSSIBLE jordan rookie incoming. its a belated bday present from someone i know whos not a collector..apparently it was in someones storage bin or something for a good while before they came across it..anywho..im planning on having it graded by beckett (which any info on how to have a card graded by beckett would be appreciated since ive never done it before in all my years of collecting lol) to see if its real or a reprint. my question is IF its a reprint will beckett still grade it or how does that work..will it say reprint on it? also when i get it im gonna scan it front and back and post it on here and maybe someone with knowledge between the fakes and real jordan can tell me what they think.

scans have been added..just got it in today all 4/12/2012

I'm not familiar with the BGS grading process as I primarily use PSA, but I figure the process is similar.

You basically just fill out a submission form (found on their site) and send them the card. They probably have recommended ways of sending the card in as well. PSA recommends putting the card in a Card Saver II between two slabs of tapped cardboard and then boxing it up.

If it's a reprint, PSA will not grade it at all (unless you state that it's a reprint and it's a known brand: ie a 2011 Topps RC Reprint Card or something like that). This is from PSA's website:

"PSA will not grade cards that bear evidence of trimming, re-coloring, restoration, or any other forms of tampering, or are of questionable authenticity. In addition, PSA does not grade autographed cards dated earlier than 1998 or any cards manufactured by Star except Star Baseball and 1996 Star Topps (reprint) Basketball Cards; only factory imprint signatures can be graded."

I tried to find some information on the BGS website, but couldn't. I didn't scour it, just did a quick look through though.
