Yeah, but its been atleast ten years ago. It was when the Shaq/Kobe Lakers were winning championships. It wasn't the same card though. I think it was #2 or 3 of 100. I don't remember the exact amount that it sold for but it was in the $3500-4000 range.

Yeah, this seems way shady. For one the return policy, all other auctions had 14 day policy. This auction none. Why hasn't it been graded? I know it's a risk to get a 8 or 8.5 BGS on it then to have it raw. But if it did get low grade. Break it out of the case. Back at where you were. The return cash on a 9 or 9.5 BGS on this card I'm sure would bring more then $35K. Funny how it just happens to be 8/100, wait that makes it a true 1/1 Right? wink wink. This auction won't go down. Card like this would have way detailed more pics for it. Side note, the little box on back in lower left corner of Kobe "Penciler and CGI" that looks way to clear compared to other PMG cards. Maybe I'm trying to hard to find something. Anyway, we'll see how it ends up. BUYER BEWARE ;)

buyer beware? dude this guy has been trying to sell this card at an 80K BIN for atleast 6 months! plenty of people see the quality of his stuff on ebay so Id say bid with confidence. When selling such a high profile card, you arent trying to put up hundreds of high def scans for someone to steal. You deal with buyer/potential buyers 1 on 1 via phone/email.

Why would he need to get the card graded? basic authentication should be enough but I can understand why he wouldnt want to sent a 30-40k card in the mail INTERNATIONAL just to get it slabbed.

Shoot man, based off your reaction you'd think this was your card or something. All it was, was my opinion. Are you having bidders remorse or something. Your not the Bid leader on this card are you? If not, relax. Like mentioned in another responses, a lot of fakes and counterfeits come from those neck of the woods. Looking at sellers past auctions, he had nothing remotely close to this kind of high end card. Let me put it this way. It's like driving past a used car lot in town. He's been there for years, selling Civics and Accords and maybe the occasional nice BMW with a 14 day warranty. But then one day you drive by and he has a Lambo on the lot with no warranty. Kinda makes you go HMMMMMM? But hey Bid with Confidence. No thanks, put a egg in your shoe and beat it.

I don't know if the auction is legit or not, but the card looks correct. I've owned several different PMG's. If the seller was worried about someone stealing scans then he should put a custom tag on the picture............or simply don't sell on Ebay. If it ends up being a legit sale then it will be impressive. I woulda like to see it in a BGS or PSA authentic slab though.
