Opportunity for RNH IP auto...you decide which card!
I'm an intern for the local USHL club and the director of strength and conditioning personally works with RNH in the offseason. He's going to get a couple RNH RCs auto'd for me, but I don't know which ones to give him...so...you decide!
I'm getting my dad's RNH Victory RC auto'd for him and I'm also going to get my RNH Ice Kings insert auto'd but here are the three choices for rookies:
1. RNH OPC RC
2. RNH Victory RC
3. RNH YG RC
Which would you get auto'd? I need to get these cards to him tonight so any help here would be great, thanks!

The OPC is much less glossy than the other two, so I would suspect the autograph would show up nicer.

Just prep the glossy cards before hand and you'll be ok.

If you're getting one of those cards signed, definitely the OPC. Personally, I would go for a nice 8x10, though.

How do I do that?
I wish I had one, but I don't. I've got a Nuge Canvas YG, too, but I figured that would be a bad one to auto considering the texture of the front...well, and the value, too. lol

Just take an eraser and rub down the front of the glossy cards until they aren't glossy anymore. That'll help the signature hold.
I don't know when you need them by, but places like Wal-Mart or Sam's Club offer one hour photo printing, too, if you really want to go that route.

2 super clean soft cloths,if you have any baby cloth diapers even better, take some baby powder, put it on the card and with a soft cloth spread it evenly around the face of the card with slight pressure like your trying to wash a car or dishes, then blow the excess baby powder off and clean the card with another soft cloth and your card is ready for signing, just make sure you don't catch the corners of the cards with your cloth!

When I IP autograph, I get the eraser out and run over it to remove the gloss. Dont get the YG signed. Thats a very expensive card that you can never move again if you do. Get the victory and OPC done.

I'm not planning on moving the YG, let alone any of these cards. These are all for my own personal collection. If I want to move a RNH RC, I can move his Canvas YG. However, I may end up texting the guy and ask him not to have that one auto'd. It's not that glossy to begin with, so I may not have a problem with that card.
I'm getting these auto'd not so I can make a profit, but just to have an IP auto'd RNH rookie card. If it's a nice auto, it's valuable to me and a nice addition to the collection. Whatever happened to the excitement of, "Mr. Nugent-Hopkins, can you autograph my hockey card?" Like Hockey68 said, his kid would die for an autograph of RNH. I wish times where simple again. Btw, Hockey68, send me your address and, when I get the cards back, I'll send one your way.
Thanks for the help, everyone!
