Yes its wrong and there is no place but what did you expect? There will always be bad apples. So there's 20 people on twitter that are a piece of trash like the guy that threw a banana at Simmonds. But we didn't bash Canada for that right?

Hard to believe we could see the top 4 seeds in the East not make it to the second round. Totally bizarre. Tonight is going to be a blast though.

Not one bit. The people that started it were specifically there to riot. Bandanas, hoodies, the whole deal. Some people's conversations on the Sky Train (Monorail system for public transit) were about what they were going to steal that day. Some fans got caught up in the emotion and contributed, but there were many people who came there from Seattle and other areas to specifically riot and or steal stuff. It doesn't really leave the Vancouver area, as people assume that whoever watched that game down there was a Canucks fan, but some were just going to riot, others were going because it was the "cool" thing to do. Out of all of the people there, I'd say maybe half were true Canucks fans.
As for the Bruins loss and the Twitter comments, it was more than just a few people saying it AND out of the country people were too. They are just arrogant and ignorant. The worse part is some people who made these comments have no remorse for them. If you are that ignorant as a human being, you deserve whatever is coming to you.
Also, the series was a very tightly contested one, and $10 says that goal wouldn't have counted in the Stanley Cup Finals last year
but it was all overshadowed once again by post series drama. When you think of the Stanley Cup Finals last year, the first thing that comes to mind is the riot for the majority of people, and when you think of the Bruins early exit, you'll think of the hate comments dished to Joel Ward.
So Bruins fans, I hate to say this, but on behalf of a Canucks fan who heard tons about "are you going to riot this year?" comments, be prepared to be called racist because some people will group all of you together.
